Como 1907 - The American & Serie B
When FC Como a 112 year old Italian soccer club was acquired by an Indonesian tycoon, rescuing the storied club from the verge of another bankruptcy, the fans were appreciative but curious. When the new owners appointed an American to run the club, they became suspicious.
The American documents the journey of Michael Gandler, now CEO of the once proud Italian club in Como - one of Italy’s most scenic locations. Set against the backdrop of the world famous lake, The American documents issues of corruption, threats and mismanagement, as Michael attempts to return the now decrepit club to it’s illustrious history.
In Season 2 , Chelsea legend Dennis Wise takes over as CEO of the club and takes Como back to Serie B by winning the league.
